RAID Group Status

RAID group status is displayed with an icon and the status name. The RAID group status is
described below.
Available
Spare in Use
Readying
Rebuild
Copyback
Redundant Copy
Partially Exposed Rebuild

Broken
Status
The RAID group is operating normally.
Rebuilding to the hot spare disk is complete. The RAID group man-
ages redundancy by using the hot spare disk.
The RAID group that is registered as a REC Disk Buffer is not for-
matted. This status is displayed only for a RAID group that is regis-
tered as a REC Disk Buffer.
Rebuilding from a failed data disk to the hot spare disk is being
performed in the RAID group.
Copyback from the hot spare disk to the new data disk is being per-
formed in the RAID group.
Redundant copy is being performed in the RAID group.
Rebuilding from the first failed data disk to the hot spare disk is being
performed in the RAID group.
This status is displayed only when the RAID type of the RAID group
is "High Reliability (RAID6)".
Two of the data disks for the RAID group have failed. Rebuilding
from the first failed data disk to the hot spare disk is being per-
formed. In addition, all the hot spare disks have already been used.
As a result, the second failed data disk is waiting for the hot spare
disk to become available.
This status is displayed only when the RAID type of the RAID group
is "High Reliability (RAID6)".
The RAID group lost redundancy due to disk failure.
One of the disks that configures the RAID group has failed.
This status is displayed only when the RAID type of the RAID group
is "High Reliability (RAID6)".
The RAID group is blocked.
The RAID group is broken.
