With live dial pad ON, the 53i IP phone automatically dials out and turns ON Handsfree mode as soon as a dial pad key or softkey is pressed. With live dial pad OFF, if you dial a number while the phone is on-hook, lifting the receiver or pressing initiates a call to that number.

    Conferencing Calls The 53i IP phone offers two methods of conferencing: • Local conferencing (default method). • Centralized conferencing (for Sylantro and Broadsoft Servers) (Administrator must enable this method). By default, the Conference key is Key 6 on your phone. A Conference key must be set up on your phone before you can set up conference calls.
