    USING THE WEATHER BAND Weather information is given continuously from U.S. Government Weather Stations on frequencies from 162.4MHz to 162.55MHz. The Weather transmissions, broadcast 24 hours a day, are taped messages that are repeated every 4to 6 minutes and revised and updated as needed to match the changing weather conditions.

    SETTING THE ALERT TONE ON/OFF 1. Slide the ALERT TONE switch to ON position. The ALERT TONE indicator is lit. When an alert signal is received, the siren sounds for 10 seconds. 2. Slide the ALERT TONE switch to OFF position. The ALERT TONE indicator goes off.

    SETTING THE TIME Your digital clock timer operates on a 12-hour cycle. The AM indicator to the left of the digital display wil! show when the clock is reading AM time. 1. Press and hold the TIME SET button 2. While holding the TIME SET button, use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the correct time.

    SNOOZE ALARM OPERATION The Snooze-Alarm button has two functions: 1. It allows extra sleep time after the radio comes on in the WAKE TO MUSIC/ALARM mode. Press SNOOZE button to silence it. About 9 minutes later, the alarm will sound again. You can turn the unit off or use the SNOOZE feature repeatedly for up to two hours, after which the radio or alarm will turn off until the next day.
