_Shooting
with
the
AF Lock
The focus can be locked.
After locking
the focus,
the focal distance
will not
change
even when you release
your finger from the shutter
button.
Lock the focus.
_> Keep tile shutter button pressed halfway
and press the 4 button.
_. The focus locks and
AFL
appears on the
screen.
_> If you release your finger from the shutter
button and press the 4 button again,
AFL
w ill
disappear and the focus will unlock.

Compose the scene and shoot.
_Changing
the
Metering
Mode
You can change
the Metering
mode (brightness
measuring
function)
to
match the shooting
conditions.
Choose the Metering mode.
_> After pressing the @ button, press the .Av
buttons to choose E®_.
Choose an option.
_> Press the 4_ buttons to choose an option,
then press the @ button.
_. The setting will appear on the screen.
_Suitabte for standard shooting conditions, including back lit

Averages the light metered from the entire frame, but gives

greater weight to the center.
