Basic operations

Turning on the power

Turn on the ignition switch.
• When displaying the map screen for the first time
after turning on the power, the screen below
appears. Press [OK] to use the map screen.
• The power is turned off when the ignition switch is
turned off.

Turning off/on the screen

Press and hold
Touch the screen to turn it on again.
• You can erase the clock display while the screen is
turned off. (<Clock on Video/Screen-Off>, ☞
page 85)
to turn the screen off.
Adjust the angle of the front
panel
You can adjust the angle of the front panel to
compensate for the effects of glare etc..

Select the desired angle.
• The front panel moves to the selected angle.

desired screen.
Notice:
The front panel moves to the "0" angle setting when
the unit is turned off. The front panel will move to
the selected angle when the unit is turned on again.
