Importing Files from My Documents

Use this procedure to import snapshot or movie files into a folder from the "My
Documents" folder of main memory or a storage card.
•
This procedure can be used only to import JPEG, CAM or CMF files from the
"My Documents" folder into another folder. Note that the files must be stored
directly the "My Documents" folder, and not in another folder located inside of
the "My Documents" folder.

Only CAM files that contain VGA size images can be imported. The names of
CAM files that contain non-VGA size images do not appear on the dialog box.

Importing CAM files automatically converts them to JPEG files.
To import files from My Documents
1. On a thumbnail index screen, use the folder box to specify the folder where
you want the imported images to be stored.
2. On the Tools menu, tap Import From outside folder.

This causes the dialog box shown below to appear.
Use this box to
select the destina-
tion location. "Main
Memory" is the
initial default setting.
You can change this
to "Storage card" if
you want.
Check this box if
you want the source
files to be deleted
automatically after
the import operation
is complete.
3. After making the settings you want, tap OK.

This executes the import operation and closes the dialog box. You can then
check the thumbnail index to confirm that the files were imported correctly.
