If you are unable to obtain an IP address automatically, you will need to assign
an IP address manually. Please follow these steps to assign an IP address
manually:
1. When the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" window appears. Make sure
that "Use the following IP address" is selected.
2. Specify your IP address (e.g., 192.168.0.1) and your Subnet mask as
255.255.255.0 and click OK. The IP address shown is an example. You can
substitute another IP address as long as it is unique, follows the same format as
the one shown in the example, and the IP address is in the same subnet as your
local network.
