User's Guide
Power supply problems
The power does not turn on.
Cause
The battery is set incorrectly.
The battery has run out.
The Charge lamp lights orange.
Cause
The battery is not inserted.
The viewer becomes hot.
Viewing and playback problems
Cannot access data.
Cause
The name of a file or folder is not
supported by the set language.
The data is not displayed.
Cause
The photo, video, or audio file you
selected is not supported.
The data is broken.
The LCD Brightness setting is too dark.
The video cable is connected to the
viewer.
What to do
Make sure that the battery is installed correctly. See
"Charging the battery" (page 62).
See "Troubleshooting" (page 64) and charge the battery.
What to do
Insert the battery into the viewer.
Turn off the power, disconnect the AC adapter, stop
charging and wait more than 30 minutes, then connect the
AC adapter again to restart charging. The Charge lamp still
lights orange, contact our customer support.

Rename the file or folder to access.
What to do
See "Photo/Video file formats supported by the viewer"
(page 30) or "Audio file formats supported by the viewer"
(page 46) and make sure the data is supported. Also, check
the codec of the data if you are trying to display a video file.
You can convert and transfer video and audio files with the
Epson Link2 software.
Copy the data again.
See "Changing the Viewer Settings" (page 53) and make
sure the LCD Brightness setting is set properly.
Disconnect the video cable to display the LCD.
