Making a Startup Disk

A startup disk is a floppy diskette that contains the system files required
to start up the system. It starts up the system without using the hard
disk, so it comes in handy when you need to perform troubleshooting
steps.
The optional floppy disk drive is required to make a startup disk.
1. On the Windows Taskbar, click Start, point to Settings, and the click
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. In the Add/Remove Programs properties dialog, click the Startup
4. Insert a new 2HD (1.44Mbytes) into the floppy disk drive.
5. Click the Create Disk button to start creation of a startup disk.
