Problem
The product moves slowly, with irreg-
ular speed or not at all.
The cutting result is unsatisfactory.
The engine backfires when the en-
gine stops.
The engine stops when you try to re-
verse.
Transportation
The product is heavy and can cause crush injuries.
Be careful when you load it onto or off a vehicle or
trailer.
Use an approved trailer for transportation of the
product.
Make sure that you have knowledge of local
road traffic regulations before transportation of the
product in a trailer or on roads.
To make it easier to load the product onto a trailer,
put the cutting deck in the highest position.

Cause
The drive system is disengaged.
The parking brake is applied.
The drive belt is loose or damaged.
There is unwanted materials on the
steering plate (if the steering plate is
installed).
The blades are blunt or damaged.
The cutting deck is not parallel.
The grass is wet.
The grass is long.
The tire pressure is incorrect.
The product is operated at too high
forward or rearward speed.
The drive belt for the cutting deck is
worn or damaged.
The throttle control is not put in the
idle position.
The reverse operation system (ROS)
is not engaged.

Action
Engage the drive system. Refer to
engage and disengage the drive sys-
tem on page 16 .
Release the parking brake.
Replace the drive belt.
Clean the product.
Sharpen the blades or replace the
blades.
Adjust the parallelism of the cutting
deck. Refer to
ism of the cutting deck on page 27 .
Let the grass become dry before you
cut it.
Start with a higher cutting height and
decrease it gradually.
Do a check of the tire pressure. Ad-
just the tire pressure if it is necessa-
ry.
Use slower speed.
Replace the drive belt for the cutting
deck.
Put the throttle control in the idle po-
sition.
Engage the reverse operation system
(ROS). Refer to
operation system (ROS) on page 18 .
To safely attach the product for transportation
WARNING:
product, you must read and understand the
safety chapter. Refer to

the load area.
