_ Do not leave the camera in the

The camera body may beconle discolored or
delbrnled, and this may cause a mallhnction.

• Near strong magnetic place
• In sandy or dusty places
Be carclhl not to let sand or dl/sI get into tile
camera. This may cause the canlera to
mallhnction,
and in some cases lhis malflmclion
cannot be repaired.

Cleaning
the LCD screen
II fingerprints or dust make tile LCD screen dirty,
it is reconmlended
you use a soil cloth to clean it.
Whcn you use tile LCD Clemfing Kit (not
supplied), do not apply tile cleaning liquid directly
to the LCD screen. Use cleaning paper nloislened
with the liquid.
Cleaning
the lens
Wipe tile lens with a soi_ cloth to remove
fingerprints, dust, etc,
Cleaning
the camera surface
Clean tile canler+t SUlqlilcewith a sol_ cloth slightly
moistened with w+ttel-,then wipe tile suriuce with
a dry cloth. Do not use the lollowing as they nlay
danlage the finish or the casing.
• Chemical producls such as thinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable
cloths, insect repellent.

• Do not touch the camera with tile above on your
hand.
• Do not leave the camera in contact with rubber

Moisture
condensation
occurs
easily
when:
• Tile camera is brought from a cold locatkm such
as a ski slope into a warmly healed room.
• The camera is taken h'onl an air-conditioned

outdoors,
etc.
How to prevent moisture condensation
