MACRO
It permits you to shoot objects as close as 1 cm
from the lens tip.
Slide and hold the power zoom control to the
"W" side. An object is auto focused.
NOTES:
•
Determine the size of the object by moving the
camera backward and forward.
•
Be careful as the lighting tends to be low when
shooting in the above conditions.
•
A subject 1m from the lens surface to infinity
can be focused on the telephoto side.
ELECTRONIC IMAGE STABILIZER (EIS) (Only for VM-E635LE)
This function corrects slight shaking of the image
in the following record modes.
•
Recording by zooming up to a distant subject
•
Recording by approaching a small subject
•
Recording while walking around
•
Recording a subject behind the window of a
vehicle
1. Press the EIS button to engage the electronic
image stabilizer and to display the EIS indi¬
cator " <©))".
•
Press the button again to switch off this
function.
2. Press the Start/Stop button to start recording.
•
EIS corrects slight shaking of the image
when " <©>) " is displayed.
NOTES:
•
Shaking
of
the
image
appears
in
the
viewfinder or LCD monitor with a slight delay.
•
EIS may not operate correctly when a wide or
teleconverter lens is used.
•
When the EIS function is engaged in the vicin¬
ity of the zoom range with "ZOOM" displayed
in the viewfinder or LCD monitor and the zoom
is moved from the wide-angle end, the image
size will change, but this is normal.
•
When the EIS function is engaged, the picture
becomes rough.
•
When the EIS function is engaged, the angle of
view at the wide-angle end becomes nar¬
rower.
•
It is recommended that you do not use the EIS
function when using a tripod.
The sensor
would detect vibrations from the tripod in
which case the picture would be blurred.
