F-SEARCH AND R-SEARCH
When looking for a particular point in your video¬
tape use the F.FWD button and REW/REVIEW but¬
ton to find the spot quickly.
When the LCD monitor is closed:
•
Press the F.FWD button during playback to
play the tape forward at approximately 7 times
normal speed.
Press the PLAY button to
return to normal playback.
•
Press the REW/REVIEW button during play¬
back to play the tape backwards at approxi¬
mately 5 times normal speed. Press the PLAY
button to return to normal playback.
NOTE:
When you engage the F.FWD button or
REW/REVIEW button the picture will have some
interference or noise in the viewfinder. This is
normal during search mode.
When the LCD monitor is open: (Clear Search)
You can view pictures with less noise on the LCD
monitor during forward or reverse search.
•
Press the F.FWD button during playback to
play the tape forward at 6 times normal play
speed. Press the PLAY button to resume nor¬
mal playback.
•
Press the REW/REVIEW button during play¬
back to play the tape in reverse at 4 times nor¬
mal speed. Press the PLAY button to resume
normal playback.
NOTE:
•
If you are using forward or reverse search with
the LCD monitor closed, then you will not be
able to view pictures with less noise when you
open the monitor.
•
Several noise bars will appear on the TV
screen during forward or reverse search.
STILL_
When the Start/Stop button is pressed during
playback, a still picture can be seen. To start
again press the Start/Stop button and playback
will be resumed.
You can view a still picture with less noise on the
LCD monitor.
NOTES:
•
If the play pause mode continues for more
than 5 minutes, the camera/recorder will auto¬
matically enter the stop mode to protect the
tape from damage.
•
The still picture will have several noise bars in
the viewfinder and on the TV, but this does not
indicate a fault.
•
If you are freezing a picture with the LCD moni¬
tor closed, then you will not be able to view a
still picture with less noise when you open the
monitor.
