Switch on the connected equipment, then
perform one of the following operation.
For equipment connected to the scart sockets using a
fully-wired 21-pin scart lead
Start playback cm the connected equipment.
The picture from the connected equipment appears on
the screen.
For an auto-tuned VCR (page 6)
In analogue mode, press PROG +/-, or the number
buttons, to select the video channel.
For other connected equipment
Press @/{_l repeatedly until the correct input
symbol (see below) appears on the screen.
@AV 1/'-_3AV 1, @AV2/=*'_ AV2:
Audio/video or RGB input signal through Ihe scart
socket _/--_1 or 2. --*_ appears only it"an RGB
source
has been connecled.
=*3AV3:
Component input signal through the Y, P_WCB,PIdCk
sockets =*'_/-_3, and audio input signal through the
L, R sockets "-_'_/-@3.
=*'_ AV4:
Digital audio/video signal is input through the HDMI 1N
4 socket. Audio input signal is analogue only if the
equipment has been connected using the DV1 and audio
out socket.
@AV5/S-+_AV5:
Vide() input signal through the vide() socket @5, and
audio input signal through the L (MONO), R audio
sockets -+O5. S@ appears only if the equipment is
connected to the S vide() socket S-+_5 instead of the
vide() socket @5, and S video input signal is input
through the S vide() socket S--+_5.

Return to the normal Press DIGITAL or ANALOG.
TV operation
Access the Input Press @ to access the Input signal
signal index table index table. (Then, only in
analogue mode, press c{>.)To
select an input source, press @/_,
then press @.
Using the Tools menu
Press TOOLS to display the following options when
viewing pictures from connected equipment other
than PC.
Options Description
Power Saving See page 27.
Picture Mode See page 21.
Sound Mode See page 23.
Auto Clock Set (in Allows you to switch to digital
analogue mode only) mode and obtain the time.
Sleep Timer See page 26.
Volume See page 24.
