Operation

Open the door, and put the Knives in the basket (Knives should be washed and dried before placing
inside the steriliser). Ensure that the knives are held in the rack with the blade facing upwards and
angled towards the back of the unit. The handle of the knife should be resting on the floor of the unit
behind the front lip.
Close the door.
Connect the appliance to the
suitable mains supply and
turn on the power switch ('I'
position).
Turn the timer dial to the
desired time setting - the
lamp will continue to operate
until the door is opened or
the timer is returned to the
'OFF' position (Note: 120
minutes is the time required
to ensure sterilization).
A safety switch turns off
the lamp when the door is
opened.
DO NOT look directly at
the lamp.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Always turn OFF the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
Warm soapy water is recommended for cleaning. Cleaning agents may cause damage or leave
harmful residues when used for a prolonged period on stainless steel.
Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
Removable knife rack holder
The knife rack holder can be removed for thorough cleaning. Empty it, then remove all fixing screws.
Clean, dry well and mount back in place.
