Prerequisite
Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices, and print the following instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
For access, do the following:
1. Remove the power cord and ac power adapter. See "Power cord and ac power adapter" on page 49.
2. Remove the computer stand covers. See "" on page .
3. Remove the computer stand. See "Computer stand" on page 49.
4. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 50.
5. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 51.
6. Disconnect the power switch board cable.
