o The air conditioner transfer cylinder should be kept upright.
o Be sure to ground the cooling system before adding th e air conditioner to the system.
o When filling is complete, close the system label (if it is not already there).
o Be very careful not to add too much air conditioning to the cooling system.
OFN should be used to test the pressure before adding air conditioning to the system.
After the air conditioner is full, check the system for leaks before use.
Check for releaks before leaving the installation site.
10. Deactivating the system
Before performing this exercise, it is very important that the technician thorou ghly
understand the equipment and its details
It is important to remove all air conditioners safely
Prior to this, air and oil samples should be analyzed before the pumped air is reused
It is important to have available electricity before starting the operation
a) Must know the equipment and its operation.
b) Electrical isolation system.
c) Before following the Code of Conduct, ensure that:
▪ There are devices for managing the various mechanisms of the air
conditioning transfer cylinder
▪ All personal protective equipment should be provided and properly worn
▪ The process of pumping out the air conditioner must be supervised by
qualified technicians at all times
▪ Air conditioning drainage equipment and cylinders must meet the required
standards
d) Drug aspiration if possible.
e) If there is no vacuum, use combined hoses to draw air conditioning water from
different parts of the system.
f) Make sure the cylinder is set correctly before pumping.
g) Start pump and follow manufacturer's instructions.
h) Do not allow the cylinder to overflow (not more than 80% of the liquid air volume).
i) Do not expose the cylinder to excessive working pressure, even temporarily.
j) When the cylinder is filled as planned and the process is complete, ensure that th e
cylinder and its equipment are removed from the working area and the isolation
valve located on the equipment is closed.
k) The pumped air conditioner shall not be re-injected into another cooling system
unless the system has been cleaned and inspected.
11. Close tag
Signs on appliances should be turned off to indicate that the system is turned off and the air
conditioning water has been used up.
Signs should be dated and marked.
Make sure the label on the appliance indicates that the air conditioner is flammable.
12. Reparation
When draining the air conditioner from the system, whether for maintenance or to
deactivate the system, it is important to take out all the air conditioner water safely.
When transferring air conditioner to cylinders, be sure to use only suitable air conditioner
cylinders.
Ensure that the number of cylinders suitable for all air-filled systems is sufficient.
All cylinders used to drain the air conditioner should be determined and the indicator sign
should be closed (for example, a special cylinder for pumping air conditioner water out of
the system).
The cylinder should be equipped with a pressure reducing valve and work in the correct
working sequence relative to the open valve.
