    Getting started About this User guide This is the Xperia™ Z3 Tablet Compact User guide for the Android™ 6.0 software version. If you're not sure which software version your device is running, you can check it in the Settings menu. System and application updates can present the features in your device in another way than described in this User guide.

  • Page 9 To insert the nano SIM card and the memory card Do not cut your SIM card, for example using a blade or scissors, as this may damage your device. Open the nano SIM/Memory card slot cover. Using your fingernail, drag out the nano SIM card tray. Firmly place the SIM card in the correct orientation as shown in the illustration.

It is recommended to protect your device with a Sony branded screen cover or a protector intended for your Xperia™ model.     Locking and unlocking the screen When your device is on and left idle for a set period of time, the screen darkens to save battery power and locks automatically. This lock prevents unwanted actions on the touchscreen when you are not using it. When you buy your device, a basic screen swipe lock is already set.
