This symbol indicates information that, if ignored or applied incorrectly,
creates the possibility of personal injury or material damage.
Examples
A circle indicates something you should not do.
This symbol indicates you should not try to take something apart.

Alkaline Batteries
Perform the following steps immediately if fluid leaking from alkaline
batteries ever gets into your eyes.
1. Do not rub your eyes! Rinse them with water.
2. Contact your physician immediately.
Leaving alkaline battery fluid in your eyes can lead to loss of sight.
Battery
Misuse of batteries can cause them to leak and damage nearby
components, which creates the risk of explosion, fire, and personal
injury. Be sure to observe the following precautions.
• Never try to take batteries apart and do not allow them to become shorted.
• Do not subject batteries to intense heat or allow them to become shorted.
