WARNING:
ROTATING PARTS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
THE USE OF ELECTRIC MACHINERY, LIKE ALL
OTHER UTILIZATION OF CONCENTRATED POWER
AND ROTATING PARTS, CAN BE HAZARDOUS.
MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE VOLTAGE IS REMOVED
FROM ALL CIRCUITS AND THAT NO MECHANICAL
PARTS
ARE

Connect power to control, and control
to motor. Check contacts.
Check motor nameplate value with bus
voltage.
Check connections with control wiring
diagram.
Disconnect motor from load. If motor
starts
machine.
Measure/compare winding resistance
of each phase.
Test for grounded winding.
Check motor capability.
Wait for motor to cool. Try starting
again.
Stop motor. Then try to start. It will
not start on single phase. Check for
"Open" in one of the lines or circuits.
Check balance by measuring current
and voltage in each phase. Correct the
power supply to obtain balanced
voltages.
