• Before starting the engine, make sure that the Traction Drive Lever
has been disengaged.
• Do not operate the machine in a confined space where
dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can collect.
• Operate the machine only in daylight or in good artificial light.
• Do not operate the machine on steep slopes.
• Do not put your hands or feet near or under the snout. Keep clear of the
snout and blower tube at all times.
• Shut the engine off and wait until the impeller comes to a complete
stop before removing or replacing the debris bag.
• Make sure that all the screws, bolts and nuts are screwed tight enough
to ensure that machine is in a safe condition and does not rattle when
operating.
• After using the machine, make sure that the engine has been given
time to cool off.
• Check the debris bag frequently for wear or deterioration.
• Make sure that any worn or damaged parts have been replaced before
operating the machine.
• Keep extra care when handling petrol as petrol vapors can lead to
fires or even explosions.
• Sound pressure level - This unit had equivalent continuous A-weighted
sound pressure at the operator ear of 97 dB(A), based on the
measurements of identical machines as per the procedures described
in EN11201.
• Sound power level - This unit has a sound power level of 107 dB(A),
based on measurement of identical machines per the procedures
described in EN11904.
• Vibration level - This unit has a maximum hand-arm vibration level
of 6.4m/s
