Using the Cutting-Unit
Kickstand
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Cutting-unit kickstand
Procedure
Whenever you need to tip the cutting unit to expose
the bedknife/reel, prop up the rear of the cutting unit
with the kickstand to make sure that the nuts on the
back end of the bedbar-adjusting screws are not
resting on the work surface

Secure the kickstand to the chain bracket with the
snapper pin (Figure 32).

Procedure
1. Use rubbing alcohol and a clean rag to clean the
floor bracket area next to the serial plate, and
allow the bracket to dry
