You can use EOS Utility to shoot remotely over a wireless or wired LAN.
In addition to remote capture, almost all EOS Utility camera operations
except firmware updating are supported, because this option utilizes a
wireless or wired network instead of a USB cable.

The WFT-E7 (Ver.2)'s wired and wireless LAN functions cannot be used in Mac OS X
10.8.0 or 10.8.1.
