Install components at the lowest available space for that component type.     2U1N Configuration Equipment Installation Procedure 1. Install the slide rails in the cabinet. 2. On both sides of the cabinet, extend the ball bearing and inner rail fully out of the cabinet until they lock in the extended position. Note Mounting posts on each side of the server rest in vertical slots in the inner slide rail.

Each cabinets slide consists of the part that is installed in the cabinet (slide rail) and the part that is mounted on the side of the server (inner rail).

Position one of the inner rails on the mounting studs on corresponding side of the replacement chassis. 4. Slide the inner rail forward until it clicks, which locks it in place on the server.
