♦ Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
Use:
♦ Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.
♦ The deposit must be filled with water before turning the
appliance on.
♦ Open the lid and remove the cooking trays.
♦ Fill the deposit taking care to observe the MAX level.
♦ Fit one or both trays (depending on the amount of food
to be cooked) and fit the lid in its position.
♦ Connect the appliance to the mains.
♦ Start the appliance by turning on the timer.
♦ The pilot light (G) comes on.
♦ When using the appliance check the water level in the
reservoir and top it up if necessary.
♦ After the selected time the appliance will switch off
automatically.

Timer function:

♦ The appliance's operating time can be controlled.
♦ To program the operating time simply select it using the
knob.
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
♦ Stop the appliance, selecting position 0 on the selector
knob.
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
♦ Let the appliance cooldown
♦ Remove the water from the inside of the appliance.
♦ Clean the appliance.

CLEANING
♦ Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
♦ Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
♦ Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
♦ It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and
remove any food remains.
♦ It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly, as
accumulated grease, especially in the filters, reduces the
product's performance and increases the risk of fire.
♦ The following pieces may be washed in a dishwasher
(using a soft cleaning program):
♦ Lid
♦ Rice tray
♦ Trays 1 and 2
♦ Then dry all parts before its assembly and storage.
How to deal with lime scale incrustations:
♦ For the appliance to work correctly it should be kept free
of lime scale or magnesium incrustations caused by the
use of hard water.
♦ To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend the use
of water with low lime or magnesium mineralisation.
♦ However, if it is not possible to use the kind of water
recommended above, you should periodically remove
the lime scale from the appliance:
♦ Every 6 weeks if the water is "very hard".
♦ Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
♦ A specific anti-lime scale product should be used on this
kind of product.
♦ Homemade solutions are not recommended in the decal-
ing of this appliance, such as the use of vinegar.
