1 Description
The Single Telephone Station is compatible with the Silent Knight Firefighter's Telephone IDP-FFT and SK-FFT series. The FFT-STS Series has a
handset with a push-to-talk switch used for communication with the main FFT controller or other remote handsets. The FFT-STSR is for recessed
installations while the The FFT-STSS is for surface-mount installations. For more information, refer to the IDP-FFT Installation Manual PN 54708 or
the SK-FFT Installation Manual PN 54711.
2 Installation
Figure 1 and Figure 2 illustrate the telephone chassis and backbox.

(3048 m) maximum wiring distance at 14AWG. System wiring for telephones with coiled cord handsets must not be connected to the outside wiring or run in the same conduit or cable tray as the power or cable TV lines.
