The air curtain is a major design improvement. Its purpose is to control the air temperature in the gap
and stabilize the sheet. In order to accomplish both objectives, the air flow must be uniform. Feeding
the integral air curtain are four .25 inch (6 mm) outside diameter air lines. These are the same length to
help equalize air flow to the air plenum. If any hose is replaced, be certain to use the same length as the
other three hoses.
