Insert the front end of the system board assembly towards the front of the chassis until it
stops.
b.
Lower the other end down into the chassis.
c.
Slide the system board assembly towards the rear of the chassis until it clicks into place.
Ensure that rear connectors on the system I/O board are inserted into the corresponding holes
in the rear panel.
After you finish
1. Install any components that you have removed:
"Install a processor" on page 117
"Install a heat sink" on page 119
"Install a memory module" on page 91
"Install the CMOS battery" on page 63
"Install the system fan cage" on page 160
"Install a riser assembly" on page 104
"Install the OCP module" on page 95
"Rear drive backplane and drive cage replacement" on page 134
2. Push the power supply units in place. Ensure that they are connected to the system board assembly.
3. Reconnect all the required cables to the same connectors on the system board assembly. See

4. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are left
inside the server.
