Connecting the Auxiliary Port
Note: If you are going to configure locally, follow
the procedure on the previous page.
If you are using a remote PC or ASCII terminal to
configure your Cisco MC3810, connect the modem
(not included) to the auxiliary port.
Use the light-blue RJ-45-to-RJ-45 rollover cable
(included) and an RJ-45-to-DB-25 modem adapter
(included).

Step 1
Connect the adapter labeled MODEM to
your modem.
Step 2
Connect one end of the cable to the
modem adapter.
Step 3
Connect the other end of the cable to the
auxiliary port (black) on the
Cisco MC3810.
When you are finished, continue to the "Connecting
the Power Cable" section on page 15.
