the door closed, at ambient temperatures of 30 º C.
■ Touch the button to enter Energy Saving mode. ON display comes on with the touch of the button.
To stop ENERGY SAVING mode, touch
off ON indicator lamp.
ENERGY SAVING mode allows effective energy saving.
The mode includes:
● Automatic temperature control to lower cooling loads in each compartment.
● Turning down the LED light in the Refrigerator Compartment and the LED light
in the Vacuum Compartment if the door of the Refrigerator Compartment is left
open for more than 30 seconds.
Notice
● When both ENERGY SAVING and FREEZER / REFRIGERATOR modes are set concurrently, the LED light in the
Refrigerator Compartment is turned down, but FREEZER / REFRIGERATOR function is performed fi rst while weakening
cooling function is interrupted. FREEZER / REFRIGERATOR
SAVING mode after FREEZER / REFRIGERATOR
● When both ENERGY SAVING and VEGETABLE modes are set concurrently, the cooling function will be weakened from the
VEGETABLE . Pg.50
● When the temperature in the "Freezer Compartment"/"Refrigerator Compartment" is set to MIN. , it will not be weakened
so as to maintain the freshness of foods while LED lights in the Refrigerator Compartment and the Vacuum Compartment are
turned down.
Caution
● Automatic temperature control lowers cooling loads, which may cause ice cream to get soft and frost to form on
frozen food. It also requires longer freezing time and ice making time.
