Disassembling the cylinder block

1. Loosen:
• Crankcase bolt "1"
• Crankcase bolt "2"
TIP:
Loosen the crankcase bolts in the order [1], [2],
and so on.

2. Remove:
• Crankcase bolt "1"
• Crankcase bolt "2"
• Crankcase "3"

3. Remove:
• Connecting rod bolt "1"
• Connecting rod cap "2"
• Piston assembly "3"
TIP:
• Make sure to keep the crankshaft pin bear-
ings in their original groups.
• Mark each piston with an identification num-
ber "a" of the corresponding cylinder.
• Do not mix the connecting rods and caps.
Keep them organized in their proper groups.

4. Remove:
• Crankshaft "1"
• Crankshaft journal bearing "2"
• Oil seal "3"
• Oil seal "4"
