Chapter 1: Getting to Know and Connecting the Gigabit ExpressCard Adapter The Front Panel The Adapter's LEDs, where information about network activity is displayed, and Ethernet port are located on the front panel. Orange. The 10 LED lights up when the Adapter is connected to a 10Mbps network.
This chapter will take you through all the steps necessary to set up, configure, and install the Adapter. The steps are also available to use the Utility to uninstall the driver for the Adapter, if you should ever need to do so. After you set up the Adapter with the Setup Utility, you will install the Adapter into your Notebook PC.

1. Make sure that your Notebook PC is turned off. 2. Locate your PC’s ExpressCard slot (usually located on the side). Insert the pin end of the Adapter into the slot with the LEDs facing up. Make sure that the Adapter seats firmly in place.
