Voltage Selector Switch
The pow er available to each receptacle depends on the position of the
voltage selector sw itch.
Switch Position
120V ONLY
120V/240V
120V ONLY Position
When the voltage selector sw itch is in the 120V ONLY position, you
do not need to spread the load over the receptacles. You m ust,
how ever, m ake sure the load on any receptacle does not exceed its
available pow er show n in the preceding table and the total load does
not exceed 37.5 am ps.
120V/240V Position
When the voltage selector sw itch is in the 120V/240V position, you
m ust balance the load. Divide the load betw een the tw o sets of
receptacles show n below . Balancing is necessary because each set of
receptacles is pow ered by only one pow er producing circuit that can
produce a m axim um of 18.8 am ps.
