Rack-mount bracket
Inner clearance (the width between the inner sides of the two posts or rails) must be at least 17.6 inches (44.70 cm).
Note
The height of the chassis is 6.94 inches (17.63 cm). Airflow through the chassis is from front to back.
Step 1
Make sure that the line card levers are in the locked position and the locking thumbscrews are tightened.

Make sure the rack brakes are locked or the rack is stabilized.

Slide the chassis into the rack, pushing it back until the brackets meet the mounting strips or posts on both sides of the
rack.
Keeping the brackets flush against the posts or mounting strips, align the holes in the brackets with the holes on the

For each bracket, insert and tighten two 12-24 x 0.5-inch screws to the rack.
