    Before Unpacking the Router Figure 1 shows the Cisco 12006 or Cisco 12406 router on its shipping pallet. A fully configured system can weigh as much as 205 pounds (94 kg), not counting the additional weight of the pallet and packaging materials. Before unpacking the system, you should carefully plan the site location of the router and the method you will use to move it into position to install it in a rack.
