Page 3 Operation (continued) Short – If there is a short in the cable, three beeps will sound, and the SHORT LED will illuminate. In addition, the Pin LED(s) for the pin(s) where a short exists will illuminate. Connected – When a connection from one end of the cable to the other is found, a low-to-high beep will sound and the PASS LED will illuminate.
