Note : Make these 2 adjustments (3-S1, 3-S2) after perform-
ing section 3-13.

3-S1. W/B plunge correction adjustment

S1-1. Adjustment of NTSC composite

1) Input the 525 all white (with burst) cut-off signal.
2) Adjust the brightness to a value below 10 cd/m
CONT and BRT VR.
Brightness adjustment:3 cd/m
3) Turn CHROMA VR to MIN, and measure the color tem-
perature.
4) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with

so that the color temperature will

be the same as the value measured in item 3).
Standard adjustment:
The difference should be within 2 JND when CHROMA
MIN n MAX.

S1-2. Adjustment of PAL composite

1) Input the 625 all white (with burst) cut-off signal.
2) Repeat the operations S1-1. 2) and 3).
3) Turn CHROMA VR to MAX, and make adjustment with
