6. Electrical connections and power on

6.2 Power on (Commissioning)

Caution:
The following procedure should be followed carefully and only performed
1. Check that all electrical connections are terminated correctly as per the wiring diagram.
2. Switch on the power supply to the controller.
3. Using a Digital Multi Meter (DMM), check the supply voltage of power+ and power- at
CON16. The measured voltage should be in the range of 24VDC±5%.
4. Switch off and on again.
5. The LCD displays the software version, communication ID and MaxMD, and the power
light turns on.
6. LeakFilm MC enters normal monitoring mode.

The user can set the ID of LeakFilm MC using the SW3 dip switch on the PCB and MaxMD
using the SW4 dip switch. See "6.1 Terminal connections" for details.
Caution:
The ID of LeakFilm MC should be unique to communicate with a host
system, otherwise it cannot communicate properly due to ID conflict.

MaxMD does not have to be adjusted by the user. Just check that the

Software version display.
"ID:001" shows the communication ID of LeakFilm MC
set by SW3 dip switch.
"MaxMD:007" shows MaxMD set by SW4 dip switch.

Display date & time at normal (no alarm) status.
