4. ERROR CODE DISPLAY

When the camera is inoperative (bc blinks),
normally the battery level icon will blink. When
you select "Error Code Display" with the repair
adjustment software program, the error code will
appear on the LCD panel as shown on the right.
It indicates the camera's error condition.

q A battery check (no load) while E1 is ON shows a
battery voltage lower than the metering prohibit
voltage.
w A battery check (no load) during an exposure
shows a battery voltage lower than the focusing
prohibit voltage.
q A battery check before shutter release shows a
battery voltage lower than the prohibit voltage.
w A battery check after an exposure and before film
advance shows a battery voltage lower than the
prohibit voltage.
e A battery check before auto film loading shows a
battery voltage lower than the prohibit voltage.
r A battery check after an exposure and before film
advance shows a battery voltage lower than the
prohibit voltage.
t A battery check before the built-in flash's pop-up
operation shows a battery voltage lower than the
prohibit voltage.
