The PDJ-A640 supports the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). The required settings of the
SNMP Agent of the SNMP function can be established using Telnet. Establish the following settings to
enable the network monitoring using SNMP.
For structure of the MIB that is installed in the PDJ-A640, the information that can be obtained, and
details of the Trap information that is notified from the PDJ-A640 to the SNMP Manager, refer to the
Maintenance Manual of the PDJ-A640.

Function
public
Sets name of the read-only community.
Used to read the MIB that is installed in XDCART.
Private
Sets name of the read-write community.
Used to read and write the MIB that is installed in
XDCART. Settings are required when writing the
system variables (sysContact, sysName, sysLocation)
of the XDCART MIB-2 from the SNMP Manager.
public
Sets name of the community of the Trap information
that is issued from XDCART.
