• May come on briefly if the power
mode is set to ON and the vehicle
is not moved within 45 seconds, to
indicate the initialisation process is
not yet complete.
• Comes on and stays on when:
- One or more tyres' pressures are
determined to be significantly
low.
- The system has not been
initialised.
• Blinks for about one minute, and
then stays on if there is a problem

with the deflation warning system,
or when a compact spare tyre is
temporarily installed.
• Comes on if the deflation warning
system is deactivated temporarily
after the battery has been
disconnected, then re-connected.
Explanation
• Comes on while driving - Stop in a safe
place, check tyre pressures, and inflate the
tyre(s) if necessary.
• Stays on after the tyres are inflated to
the recommended pressures - The system
needs to be initialised.
2 Deflation Warning System Initialisation

• Blinks and remains on - Have your vehicle
checked by a dealer. If the vehicle is fitted
with a compact spare tyre, get your regular
tyre repaired or replaced, and put back on
your vehicle as soon as you can.
Drive a short distance at more than 20 km/h.
The indicator should go off. If it does not,
have your vehicle checked by a dealer.
