Alerts pedestrians when a vehicle is propelled solely by electricity, approaching at
speeds around 20 km/h or less.

Press the button to turn the system on and
off.
u The indicator in the button comes on
when the system is off.
The system is turned on every time you turn
the power system on, even if you turned it off
the last time you drove the vehicle.

The pause function of the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting
System shall not be used unless for an obvious lack of
necessity to emit sound for alert in the surrounding
area and that it is certain that there are no
pedestrians within the short distance.
