Note
• Check if the SW build number of update target is the version later than the currently
installed version.
• Update is impossible if saved to the sub-folder of USB memory stick or if the file name
is different.
• The format of USB memory stick must be FAT32.
• Since on/off action of the device power continues automatically several times while
update is in progress, do not take any actions until the update is completely finished.
• Take precaution with turning off the power by force because this may damage the
device and the software.
• Take precaution to prevent the product and the USB memory stick from being
separated while file transfer is in progress. This may damage the data and the product.
• Since 30% or more power source is required for update, be sure to upgrade in a state
of connecting the power adapter (DC 12V/3A).

Check the software build number of the device before starting the update.
You can check the build number in Settings>About us>Equipment Info.

Download the software update from the website (http://asia.canon/en/
support).
3.
Change the name of the downloaded file (upgrade_MiniPJ_Vxx.zip) to
'upgrade_MiniPJ.zip' and save to the root directory of USB or SD card.
4.
Insert the USB stick into USB port or SD card slot.
5.
Tap the 'Setting' icon on the Home screen and tap 'About us' on the
Settings window.
