Getting started

Before using the appliance for the first time:
• Remove packing materials and stickers.
• Remove the food tray from oven.
• Wash in sudsy water, rinse and drywith a cloth or paper towel.
• Replace food tray in oven.
• Select a location for the unit. Do not place unit under cabinets or too close to the wall. Allow heat to flow without damaging counter
space (Allow at least a 10 cm clearance all around the oven toaster).
Note: When the oven toaster is switched on the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke, this is normal and does not last long.
To eliminate the smell please follow this procedure:
1. Ensure that the oven toaster is empty and that the door is open.
2. Set the temperature to Max and setthe timer for 15 minutes.
3. After 15 minutes the timer will automatically switch the oven toaster off.
4. The oven toaster is now ready for use.
Caution: Do not use roasting bags, plastic containers or glassware that is not ovenproof in this oven toaster.
Ensure that the food does not come into contact with the heating elements. Should the food catch alight while cooking, keep the oven door
closed and and unplug from the wall socket
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure the timer dial is set to "0" position before plugging in the unit.
2. Connect plug into the appropriate power socket.
3. The oven should be pre-heated before you cook achieve effective cooking performance.
4. Place the food onto the grill rack. Make sure the food tray should be used for juicy and oily food.
Note: Before putting the food on the tray, spread a layer of edible oil onto the food tray to avoid the food sticking to tray after baking.
5. Set the temperature control dial to the desired temperature.
6. Set the timer dial to the desired cooking time.
Note: If the time is within 5 minutes, please turn it to 10 minutes and then turn back to the desired position.
7. Check the condition of food constantly during cooking. You can change baking time to suit your own personal taste.
8. When the cooking time is up, remove the cooked food from the unit with oven mitten.
Caution: Heat resistant mitten must be used when removing the food tray after cooking.
9. Unplug the unit after use. Allow the unit to cool down sufficiently before moving or cleaning it.
Caution: The surface is HOT. Do not touch the unit during or immediately after cooking.
ACCESSORIES
• Grill rack - supports casserole dishes and general cooking pans.
• Food tray - for baking cookies, cakes etc. and also for collecting excess fats and juices.
• Food tray handle - use this accessory to remove food tray when hot.
FOOD TRAY POSITIONING
This oven can bake breakfast (bread, cake and steam cake), as well as dishes (roast pork, spare ribs, fish, chicken, goose, duck, peanuts, etc)
with the perfection in colour, taste and aroma. While cooking large piece of food, change position of the tray in order to allow the food to
be baked evenly.
• The food tray can be adjusted to 3 different positions according to the food you want to cook.
Note: It may be necessary to change the food tray to a lower position if the surface is too brown or change it to a higher position if the base
is browning.
