(Filter M odulation Depth)
The Filter Mo dulatio n Depth setting determines the
depth o f the filter mo dulatio n o f the VCF by the L FO 1 .
Filter Mo dulatio n adds a cyclical chang e to the filter
cuto ff frequency to create a wah effect. T urning the
kno b to the rig ht widens the rang e o f the cuto ff
frequency chang e. N eg ative value setting s reverse the
phase o f the L FO 1 by 1 8 0 deg rees.

The Key Track setting determines the key tracking o f the
VCF , raising o r lo wering the cuto ff frequency po int in
acco rdance with the no tes played o n the keybo ard.
W hen Key Track is applied, the cuto ff rang e shifts
acco rding ly at every no te, with C3 as the base.
T urning the kno b to the rig ht (po sitive values) will cause
hig her no tes to have a hig her cuto ff po int. T urning it to
the left (neg ative values) causes hig her no tes to have a
lo wer cuto ff frequency. A value setting o f " 0 " will apply
no key tracking .

W hen KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switch [VCA] is
selected, the eig ht CO N TRO L kno bs will access specific
Vo ltag e Co ntro lled Amplifier-related parameters.
The VCA is an amplifier used to increase the g ain o f the
input sig nal as received fro m the VCF , which is then
passed to the Effect blo ck in the sig nal path. Available
parameters include level co ntro ls fo r feedback, vo lume and
keybo ard velo city sensitivity, as well as depth co ntro l fo r
amplitude mo dulatio n.
The VCA can also be co ntro lled by the attack time, decay
time, sustain level and release time o f the AEG (Amplitude
Envelo pe G enerato r), to let yo u shape ho w the vo lume
level chang es o ver time, fro m when a key is pressed, held,
then released, and subsequently ho w lo ng it takes fo r the
so und to terminate.

The Attack setting determines the attack time o f the
AEG , which is the time it takes fo r the sig nal to reach
its maximum vo lume level after a key is pressed (key
o n). T urning the kno b to the rig ht pro duces a lo ng er
Attack time.
