Using the Configuration Utility
Profile Management - Scan (Site Survey)
Network Name
The Service Set Identifier is the name assigned to the wireless
(SSID):
network. The factory SSID setting is default.
Security:
If a key icon is displayed, the wireless network is using either WEP
or WPA security. You must know the security settings to connect to a
secure network.
Signal Strength: Displays the signal strength of the wireless network.
Channel:
The channel selection is automatically determined by the
DWL-G680. When in Ad-Hoc mode, you may select a channel
manually. The default channel is 6.
Wireless Mode: Displays the type of wireless network.
