4. Wash the element in a nonflammable or high flash point solvent
and dry it thoroughly.
Soak the element in clean engine oil and squeeze out the excess oil.
Clean Squeeze and Dry
Do not twist.
5. Wipe dirt from the air cleaner body and cover, using a moist rag. Be
careful to prevent dirt from entering the carburetor.
6. Reinstall the air cleaner element.
7. Reinstall the air cleaner cover by inserting the lower tabs, then
insert the upper tab.
Dip in Oil
Squeeze
Do not twist.
