Remove power from the NXS before removing or installing a CompactFlash card.

Procedure 7 To remove or install a CompactFlash card.
Step 1 Swivel the cover plate of card slot 180 degrees to open the card slot area.
Step 2 To remove a CompactFlash card already installed, push in the Eject Button, then pull out the card.
Step 3 To install a CompactFlash card, insert the card's connector side into the slot, with the card's upper side
facing the front panel of the NXS (see below), until the card locks into place.
The CompactFlash slot is machined to prevent reversed insertion—never force the card. If it meets

resistance, flip it over and reinsert the card.
