4.3.8.1
Storage Module
Perform the following steps to install a PCI-E card in the HDD storage module at the front
of the system. Power must be removed from the system.
1.
Begin by removing the storage module.
2.
Open the top cover of the storage module.
3.
Remove the screw that secures the card adapter on the card cage. Lift and then
forward the card adapter (with existed PCI-E card if any) to disengage from card cage.
4.
Remove the card adapter from the existed PCI-E card (if any is present).
5.
Replace the original PCI-E bracket of the card with card adapter and secure with a
screw.
6.
Reverse the steps above to secure the card and replace the storage module back into
the chassis.
7.
Power up the system.
