4 Configuration
This chapter explains how to use the web setup tool to complete the initial configuration and verify the operation of the
system. If you are not using a camera head, you can skip the procedures relevant to that system.

Overview of the Verification Process using the Web Setup Tool

1.
Turn on the camera head or the IP controller (A 13).

Configure the network and network passwords.
3.
Check and register the connected devices.

Only when using a camera head for the first time/after the lens is replaced

adjust the motion range values as necessary.
7.
Set the shooting settings on the main capture camera and check the shutter operation.

10. Log out from the system.
11. Turn off the camera head or IP controller (A 13).

Starting Up the Web Setup Tool

For details about the web setup tool's system requirements (compatible OS, web browsers, etc.), visit your local Canon
website.
Disable automatic proxy settings.
Access the OS's network settings on the control computer and disable in advance the automatic detection
of proxy settings on the control PC. For example, on a Windows 10 system:
Go to Start Menu > [Settings] > [Network & Internet] > [Proxy] and toggle the [Automatically detect
settings] option to [Off].
